Mask Guardians
Mask Guardians
Masks, veiled guardians of hidden faces,
Concealing expressions in mysterious places.
A cloak of anonymity, a subtle disguise,
What secrets lie beneath those watchful eyes?
Behind the mask, emotions may reside,
A delicate dance of truth and pride.
A shield from judgment, a play of charade,
What lies beneath, in shadows is laid.
Masks can protect, keep vulnerabilities concealed,
Yet, they may also obscure what's truly real.
A fragile façade, a mask of pretense,
But within, a longing for genuine recompense.
Let masks be worn, for a role to play,
But remember authenticity, don't let it sway.
Unmask the soul, let truth's light gleam,
For genuine connections, like a flowing stream.
In this masquerade of life's grand stage,
Let empathy guide, let understanding engage.
For beneath the masks we all wear and share,
Lies a common humanity, waiting to repair.
